The research subcommittee has developed programs to inspire neurosurgeons to be innovators by participating in translational research. We have helped develop interactive sessions to guide early career neurosurgeon-scientists in grant writing, laboratory science and working with the FDA. Our sub-committee worked with the Tumor Symposium Committee to create three breakout sessions for early career neurosurgeons focused on three areas of interest in translational neurosurgical oncology. - How to navigate the FDA for IND/IDE
- How to establish a translational research effort as an Early Career Neurosurgeon
- How to strengthen collaborations across colleges/Institutions
