Make plans now to attend the 20th Annual Scientific Meeting and Education Day of the Society for Neuro-Oncology, to be held November 19-22, 2015, at the Marriott Rivercenter Hotel in San Antonio, Texas.
Education Day
Commencing on Thursday, November 19, the Education Day program will focus on Immunotherapy and Immunology, with a strong slate of invited experts in the field. Highlights include keynote presentations by Dr. Larry Steinman (Stanford), Dr. Michael Irwin (UCLA), and Dr. Robyn Klein, (Washington University). The Practical and Applied Neuro-Oncology breakout track will address psychoneuroimmunology, outcomes, and the pediatric experience. The final joint afternoon session will feature a panel discussion on key considerations for the clinical application and development of immunotherapy for neuro-oncology.
Main Meeting Overview
Building upon the success of past SNO meetings, this year's Scientific Meeting will feature concurrent and plenary sessions, highlighted by focused minisymposia, oral abstract presentations, rapid reports, and oral poster presentations. Special lunch tutorials and industry-sponsored symposia will provide in-depth information on a variety of timely issues impacting CNS research and treatment. Keynote presentations from Drs. Carl June, James Allison, Donald Berry and Mark Gilbert will be featured highlights.
